Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to designated addresses in Boston and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload parcels efficiently, ensuring all items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally with customers, obtaining signatures and providing exceptional service.
- Navigate effectively using GPS and mapping apps to ensure timely deliveries.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized vehicle interior and maintain a professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Reliable personal vehicle suitable for delivery work (or availability to use a company vehicle).
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and digital paperwork.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
