Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or merchandise to designated locations within Kansas City metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer documentation using our mobile tracking system
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery issues
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and priority deliveries
- Secure packages and verify delivery confirmations via electronic signature
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years experience)
- Ability to operate vehicles up to 26 feet with manual transmission
- Strong knowledge of Kansas City streets and surrounding areas
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Customer service experience preferred
