Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles in a safe, defensive, and efficient manner at all times.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to ensure items arrive in pristine condition.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain necessary signatures upon completion of service.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Provide outstanding customer service during every interaction with clients and drivers.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Manage time effectively to ensure on-time delivery schedules are met.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent state-issued driver's license.
- Clean driving record with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving) within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of the Wichita, KS area and surrounding roads.
- Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a commercial vehicle.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during the shift.
