Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within Jacksonville metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and GPS tracking for real-time route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during package deliveries and address inquiries
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicle daily to ensure safety and compliance
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and reroute when necessary
- Assist in loading/unloading operations and inventory management at distribution centers
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and smartphone delivery apps
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery windows
