Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Vehicle: Drive commercial delivery vehicles in a safe and timely manner to designated drop-off locations.
- Load and Unload: Efficiently load and unload packages, ensuring items are handled with care and organized correctly.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues courteously.
- Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections and ensure the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, invoices, and electronic paperwork before and after shifts.
- Route Planning: Utilize GPS technology to follow the most efficient routes to optimize delivery times.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C Driver's License (or CDL if required for specific routes).
- Record: Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Experience: Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or driving roles is preferred but not always required for immediate hire.
- Availability: Must be available for shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
