Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver packages and cargo to residential and commercial locations within the Tampa area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, timesheets, and digital documentation using company-provided technology.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B is preferred but we will consider Class C with delivery experience.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar routes using GPS technology.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
