Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Tampa area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure zero accidents.
- Provide excellent customer service by handling packages with care and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Use handheld delivery devices to track progress and manage delivery logs accurately.
- Collect payments and obtain signatures where required, ensuring paperwork is completed correctly.
- Organize delivery routes efficiently to maximize time on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of the Tampa, FL geography and local traffic patterns.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and logging.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
