Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and cargo to residential and commercial locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain signatures where required.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure high satisfaction.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices and mobile applications for route tracking.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) and a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Proficient with mobile technology (smartphones, GPS navigation).
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
