Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and documents to residential and commercial addresses within San Francisco.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure a secure delivery experience.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and handling their items with care.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, ensuring it is ready for the next shift.
- Utilize mobile applications to track deliveries, update status, and communicate with dispatch.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Handle cash or electronic payments accurately when required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- A reliable vehicle that is well-maintained and suitable for local delivery work.
- Smartphone capable of running delivery apps (Android or iOS).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong navigation skills with a good knowledge of San Francisco streets and neighborhoods.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
