Job Overview
As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company, ensuring our customers receive their orders safely and on time. We pride ourselves on our fast-paced environment and the opportunity for career growth within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vans and light trucks to transport goods to residential and commercial addresses throughout San Antonio and the surrounding area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload cargo carefully, adhering to safety protocols to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Maintain accurate digital logs and delivery paperwork for every stop.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not always required for local delivery.
- Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Basic computer skills for using handheld delivery devices.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
