Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and documents to residential and commercial clients in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Ensure all delivery paperwork is accurate and signed upon completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle customer inquiries with a positive attitude.
- Update delivery status in the tracking system in real-time.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or road hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for local delivery (sedan, van, or box truck).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar routes using GPS apps.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Physical stamina to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for logging trips and navigation.
