Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient operation of tractor-trailers for dedicated regional routes
- Timely delivery of freight to Minneapolis-area manufacturing and distribution centers
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections and proper vehicle maintenance documentation
- Compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Effective communication with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Load/unload coordination with warehouse personnel
- Route optimization to minimize transit times and fuel consumption
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of OTR or regional driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Strong knowledge of Minneapolis metro area and regional highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally for load verification
- Flexible schedule with overnight stays (1-2 nights per week)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
