Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Transport packages and goods to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in top condition.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, handle deliveries with care, and resolve any minor issues on-site.
- Route Navigation: Follow designated routes and GPS instructions to ensure accurate drop-offs.
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload merchandise using appropriate equipment (hand trucks, dollies, etc.).
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and any incidents during the shift.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A current, valid driver's license (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Reliable Vehicle: Access to a reliable, insured, and registered vehicle suitable for local delivery.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for immediate start and flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Age Requirement: At least 21 years old (or 18 for local non-commercial delivery depending on local laws).
