Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Portland metro area efficiently and safely.
- Practice safe driving habits at all times, obeying traffic laws and ensuring passenger/property safety.
- Obtain signatures and verify delivery addresses to ensure accuracy.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle package exceptions professionally.
- Utilize handheld devices to log deliveries and manage schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Proficiency with smartphone technology for navigation and logging.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable access to a reliable personal vehicle (if required by specific role) or willingness to use company vehicle.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
