Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise safely and efficiently using hand trucks or pallet jacks.
- Plan the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries across the Portland metro area.
- Interact professionally with customers, confirming deliveries and handling signatures.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle interior.
- Process paperwork and digital logs accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and route management.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficient with smartphone technology for route navigation and proof of delivery.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
