Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Navigate local routes in New Orleans to deliver packages and documents to clients on time and in perfect condition.
- Customer Interaction: Provide friendly, professional, and courteous service to all customers, including proper handling of signatures and receipts.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Logistics Management: Manage delivery logs, paperwork, and digital tracking systems accurately to ensure accountability.
- Load Management: Safely load and unload goods, ensuring packages are organized and secured for transport.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid Class B CDL is preferred, but a standard Class C license with a clean driving record is also considered.
- Experience: Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or transportation is a plus but not mandatory.
- Local Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the streets and neighborhoods of New Orleans, LA.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable personal vehicle (if not provided) and be willing to undergo a background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
