Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to residential and commercial customers.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secure and handled with care to prevent damage.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure the safety of the driver, passengers, and cargo.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues efficiently.
- Complete daily vehicle inspection reports and log delivery information accurately.
- Navigate effectively using GPS and maps to optimize delivery routes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class D Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of the Louisville, KY area and local roadways.
- Basic computer literacy for processing paperwork.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Reliable personal vehicle for commuting to the depot.
