Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods from our distribution center to various commercial and residential locations within Kansas City.
- Ensure accuracy in loading and unloading cargo, verifying delivery orders, and handling documentation.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and resolving delivery issues on the spot.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to optimize delivery routes and meet time windows.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to fleet management.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries and electronic proof of delivery (E-OD).
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends if required.
