Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle to transport goods to residential and commercial locations.
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Verify delivery items against packing lists and obtain signatures from recipients.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving delivery issues professionally.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery truck at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Complete daily logs and reports accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driverβs License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Class A/B).
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple stops efficiently.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting purposes.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
