Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages, food, or retail items within San Diego County
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and GPS tracking for real-time route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and handle inquiries professionally
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route adjustments
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at distribution points
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of San Diego streets and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and route planning skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication apps
- Reliable transportation to and from the Harbor Island depot
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Prior delivery or commercial driving experience preferred
