Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and goods to customers across Charlotte metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our mobile tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Handle cash transactions and payment processing when required
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or commercial license preferred
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and delivery apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during shifts
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
- Background check and drug test required (provided)
