Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food, packages, and retail items to customers across Boston neighborhoods
- Maintain perfect order accuracy and timely deliveries using GPS navigation technology
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and handle payment transactions
- Inspect and maintain assigned delivery vehicle to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols while representing Urban Swift Logistics
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch team and customers in real-time
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of delivery supplies
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of Boston streets and metropolitan area
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
