Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial addresses in the Chicago area.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each shift to report any maintenance needs or damages.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe driving record at all times.
- Update delivery status via mobile application during the route.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Current, valid vehicle registration and proof of insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and order updates.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
