Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and unload packages safely and efficiently from delivery vehicles.
- Navigate established routes in Baltimore and surrounding areas to ensure timely deliveries.
- Practice defensive driving techniques and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers, including residential and business clients.
- Utilize handheld technology to confirm delivery and update tracking information.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for route navigation and communication.
