Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial destinations in the Baltimore area.
- Load and unload packages with care, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery manifests and ensure accuracy of orders before departure.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers during every delivery.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory verification.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must have reliable communication (cell phone) and access to a vehicle for personal use (if required).
