Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods within Atlanta metro area
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure punctuality
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for verification
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with warehouse inventory management as required
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
