Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food, packages, and retail items using company vehicles
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and address delivery concerns
- Maintain accurate delivery records and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Adhere to all NYC traffic laws and safety protocols
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse operations as needed
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of NYC boroughs and traffic patterns
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and communication
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
