Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and food orders safely and efficiently using company vehicles
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation to meet delivery time windows
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure proper handling and temperature control for perishable goods
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift 50+ packages repeatedly during shifts
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and communication
- Basic knowledge of Raleigh area streets and landmarks
- Reliable transportation to/from shift locations
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
