Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Follow assigned delivery routes efficiently to meet strict time windows and customer expectations.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Interact professionally and courteously with clients, answering questions and resolving issues as needed.
- Manage delivery paperwork and ensure accurate tracking of all dispatched items.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Assist with loading and unloading packages to ensure they are not damaged during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphone applications.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required by business needs.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and checking orders.
