Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages within Houston metropolitan area
- Verify delivery addresses and maintain accurate delivery records via mobile app
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential/commercial deliveries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries
- Handle package returns and exchanges per company protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Houston streets and traffic patterns
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug test required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
