Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and unload packages from delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure customer satisfaction with a professional demeanor.
- Follow designated delivery routes and adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Handle cash or digital payments for CODs and maintain accurate transaction logs.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues to management.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding delivery status and schedule.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Proficiency with mobile devices for navigation and electronic signature capture.
- Reliable transportation to and from the distribution center.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
