Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Efficiently load, transport, and deliver packages to residential and commercial locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and resolve inquiries promptly
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance issues to fleet management
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Collaborate with dispatch team to address delivery exceptions and ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year experience)
- Ability to safely lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
- Familiarity with Tucson metropolitan area and surrounding neighborhoods
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Basic computer literacy for using delivery tracking systems
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation to and from assigned depot
