Responsibilities
- Safely transport and deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Cleveland metro area.
- Obtain and verify signatures upon delivery while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer information in the handheld device.
- Handle package handling with care to ensure items arrive in perfect condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Basic proficiency with technology (smartphone/tablet usage).
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
