Responsibilities
- Perform timely and safe delivery of packages to residential and commercial clients.
- Inspect vehicle before and after routes for cleanliness and mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and mileage.
- Handle customer interactions professionally, answering questions and resolving issues.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper lifting techniques.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Update delivery status in the company system in real-time.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic proficiency with mobile devices and GPS navigation apps.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
