Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to various locations within the Detroit metro area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage.
- Deliver friendly and professional customer service to clients upon arrival.
- Verify delivery details and obtain signatures or digital proof of delivery.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork in accordance with company policy.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and route maps strictly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Current auto insurance and a reliable personal vehicle.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Strong knowledge of the Detroit, MI area and local streets.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as business needs arise.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
