Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages, food, or goods according to scheduled routes
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures/confirmations
- Maintain clean and well-functioning vehicles through daily inspections and minor maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and resolve delivery issues professionally
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company delivery procedures
- Use GPS navigation systems to optimize routes and meet delivery time windows
- Document delivery exceptions and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
