Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to customers across Long Beach and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and mechanical condition
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time performance
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery status and special requests
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate stairs/difficult terrain
- Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Long Beach geography preferred
