Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely using appropriate equipment.
- Verify and document the condition of merchandise upon delivery and obtain customer signatures.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical safety of the delivery vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve delivery issues or schedule changes.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding time management and attendance.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT medical card and good standing.
- Clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
