Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate Chicago metropolitan routes efficiently
- Load/unload packages with care, verifying delivery accuracy and condition
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and vehicle maintenance records
- Adhere to traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Chicago streets and GPS navigation
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as required
