Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Practice exceptional customer service by interacting positively with clients and handling packages with care.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Prepare necessary delivery documentation, including receipts and delivery logs.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent state driver’s license.
- A clean driving record with no major infractions in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones for navigation and logging purposes.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
