As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company, ensuring our customers receive their packages safely and on time. We provide comprehensive training for all new hires and a supportive work culture that values safety and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and documents to residential and commercial customers in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, properly loaded, and in good working condition before and after each shift.
- Obey all traffic laws and safety regulations to maintain a clean driving record and ensure the safety of passengers and cargo.
- Interact professionally with customers to resolve any delivery issues and ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Log daily mileage, fuel purchases, and delivery statuses accurately using handheld devices.
- Assist in loading and unloading packages, including lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Adhere to strict schedules and route plans to optimize delivery efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License (or CDL Class B if required for specific vehicle types).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record and the ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle (if applicable) or valid commercial driver's license.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and digital logging.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
