Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across Detroit
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our mobile tracking system
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicle to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle inquiries professionally
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Report maintenance issues and accidents immediately to management
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and navigate stairs during deliveries
- Strong time management and route-planning skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Reliable transportation to and from depot location
- Prior delivery or logistics experience preferred but not required
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
