Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles in a safe, timely, and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all packages are handled with care and secured properly.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain digital signatures or proof of delivery.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve any delivery issues on the spot.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to follow a route efficiently.
- Basic proficiency with technology, including handheld delivery scanners and GPS systems.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and pass a background check and drug screen.
