Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations in the Detroit metro area and surrounding regions.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring all items are accounted for and handled with care.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery for each shipment.
- Practice exceptional time management to ensure routes are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions and resolving delivery issues professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for both yourself and the customer.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a standard driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50-70 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable access to a smartphone for route updates and electronic logging.
- Willingness to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
