Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within a designated route.
- Obtain signatures and verify delivery details with recipients to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Inspect vehicle for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Manage time effectively to meet daily delivery targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class B or equivalent) with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 7 years).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld delivery devices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate unfamiliar areas using GPS systems.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
