Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations within Cleveland and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and vehicle readiness.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques, dollies, and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries, maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Accurately complete all delivery documentation and electronic logging (E-log) in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays, route changes, or maintenance needs.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and navigation.
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions.
