Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, food, or goods to designated locations using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Optimize delivery routes to meet time-sensitive deadlines while maintaining fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle inquiries professionally
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and maintain organized cargo areas
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple deliveries
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Reliable transportation to and from designated dispatch location
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by DOT regulations
