Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and handle customer transactions
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries in New Orleans metro area
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans streets and navigation
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route tracking
