Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across the Chicago metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our mobile tracking system and obtain proper signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and warehouse organization when needed
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Chicago streets and surrounding suburbs
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile technology
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
