Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for timely package delivery across Louisville metro area
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure efficient daily schedules
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and problem resolution
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Louisville area
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Reliable transportation to/from daily start location
